Web Analytics

You are here:

1. To view web statistics click on the “Web Statistics” [1] button from the left hand menu.

2. This will take you to the Google Analytics login page. Enter Your Google Analytics account email and password, if you do not currently have a Google Analytics account you will need to use/create a Google Email Address(@gmail). Once an @gmail address is created or designated for access to your analytics, please advise support@mediawiremobile.com so it can be added to the permissions for that account.

3. Since this is your own Google Analytics account, you may already have a bunch of websites that you are tracking. Simply locate your MediaWire account name [1] and select “All Web Site Data” [2].

4. You are now in your MediaWire Account Statistic dashboard, and can set up reports which will provide the statistics you wish to view. To do this click on “Customisation” [1].

5. From here you can download custom report templates already created in the library. Click “Import from Gallery” [1], and this will bring up a popup.

6. In the search bar [1], type “mediawire”, hit enter, and this will bring up a list of custom reports you can download. From the list select the report you wish to create in your account and hit “Import” [2].

7. On the next popup, click “Create” [1] to create the report.

8. Once you have created the report it will remain in your account, displaying the tracked statistics for you. You can add as many reports as you wish by repeating steps 5-7. All of the reports you add will be listed in the sidebar on the left [1] and in the “Custom Reports” box [2]. You can open up a report by clicking on it from either of these locations.

Page Views

1. looking at the “Page Views” Report, you will notice that you can select the date range from the top right corner, and this date range will be located in the same spot for every report. For the Page Views report, the “Event Category” column [2] will list the title of the issue while the “Total Events” column [3] will display the total number of page views the issue has. By clicking on the title of an issue [2] you can drill down and view how many times each individual page was visited for that issue.

2. On this screen the “Event Label” column [1] will list the page number while the “Total Events” column [2] will list the number of times that page was visited.

Issue Opens

1. For the Issue Opens report, the “Event Category” column [1] will list the Issue names while the “Total Events” column [2] will display how many times that issue was opened.

Mobile Users

1. For the Mobile Users report, the “Event Category” column [1] will list the Issue names while the “Event Label” column [2] will display how many mobile users viewed the issue.

Desktop Users

1. For the Desktop Users report, the “Event Category” column [1] will list the Issue names while the “Event Label” column [2] will display how many desktop users viewed the issue.

Browser Type

1. looking at the “Browser Type” report, the “Event Category” column [1] will list the title of the issue while the “Total Events” column [2] will display the total number of browsers that viewed the issue. By clicking on the title of an issue [1] you can drill down and view exactly how many users viewed your issue using the various browsers and browser versions.

2. On this screen the “Event Label” column [1] will list the browser type and version while the “Total Events” column [2] will list the number of times that browser and browser version was used to view your issue.

Videos Watched

1. looking at the “Videos Watched” report, the “Event Category” column [1] will list the title of the issue while the “Total Events” column [2] will display the total number of times videos were watched in that issue. By clicking on the title of an issue [1] you can drill down and view exactly how many times each video was watched.

2. On this screen the “Event Label” column [1] will list the video URL while the “Total Events” column [2] will list the number of times that video was watched.

Pages Printed

1. looking at the “Pages Printed” report, the “Event Category” column [1] will list the title of the issue while the “Total Events” column [2] will display the total number of times pages were printed in that issue. By clicking on the title of an issue [1] you can drill down and view exactly how many times each page was printed.

2. On this screen the “Event Label” column [1] will list the page that was printed while the “Total Events” column [2] will list the number of times it was printed.

Search Terms

1. Looking at the “Search Terms” report, the “Event Category” column [1] will list the title of the issue while the “Total Events” column [2] will display the total number of times a search was performed. By clicking on the title of an issue [1] you can drill down and view exactly how many times each term was searched.

2. On this screen the “Event Label” column [1] will list the search term while the “Total Events” column [2] will list the number of times it was searched.
